Silent Seven recipe with Jack Daniels
The Silent Third cocktail was published for the first time in the 1937 edition of the Café Royal Cocktail Book, as a Scottish whiskey recipe. Tennessee was still in Prohibition, so our whiskey was not available. The time has come to change the situation with a Silent Seven. Cheers!
Ingredients
- 50 ml Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey
- 20 ml Triple dry
- 20 ml Lemon juice
- 7.5 ml Simple syrup
- Orange peel
Instructions
- Fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes
- Add all the ingredients and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds
- Fill a whiskey glass halfway with ice cubes
- Strain the liquid into the glass
- Add the orange peel
