Regular beer competitions often impose a rigid evaluation framework, comparing beers to each other according to predefined standards. However, Finest Beer Selection redefines this paradigm, turning the competition into a sensory test of individual excellence.

The major difference between Finest Beer Selection and other similar competitions, consists in the individual sensory approach of each beer, without comparing them with others in the same category. The flavor of each beer is meticulously examined, evaluated on the basis of a transparent 100-point scheme. Only beers with a Finest Beer Score of 90 points or more are admitted into the exclusive circle of Finest Beer Selection.

This rigorous selection is made annually by an international jury of experienced experts during a blind tasting. Behind the concept are Doemens and Meininger Verlag, two pillars in the field of beer analysis and evaluation, with years of experience in organizing professional tastings.

Beers and Styles

Finest Beer Selection aims to open new paths in the world of beer, exploring innovations and progress in a way that does not conform to the norms of traditional beer competitions. The evaluation focuses on sensory quality, without being limited by conventional guidelines.
