Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of EuroBeverage.com (the "site"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

The site is published by Beau Romania SRL, a company registered in Romania with the fiscal code (CUI) 50630070, Trade Register number J2024027087006, and its registered office at Doftaneț 201, Buștenari, jud. Prahova, Romania ("we", "us"). You can contact us at contact@eurobeverage.com.

Adults only, and responsible drinking

EuroBeverage is about alcoholic drinks. You may use the site only if you are at least 18 years old and of legal drinking age in the country where you are. We ask every visitor to confirm this before entering.

We write about drinks because we enjoy them, and we want you to enjoy them safely:

• drink in moderation and know your limits;
• never drink and drive, or drink before operating machinery;
• do not drink alcohol if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, taking medication that interacts with alcohol, or advised not to by a doctor;
• the zero-proof recipes and stories on the site are there for anyone who prefers not to drink.

Our content is information, not advice

Stories, guides, recipes and tasting notes are published for general information and enjoyment. They are not medical, nutritional, legal, financial or other professional advice. Alcohol strengths shown for cocktails are estimates that depend on your ingredients, measures and dilution. Check the label of every product you use, especially for allergens.

We work to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.

Using the site

You may browse, read and share links to the site for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

• use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems or other users' data, or interfere with the site's security or operation;
• copy the site's content in bulk, or scrape it with automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems;
• use the site to send spam or malicious code.

We may suspend access to the site, in whole or in part, to protect it or its users.

Intellectual property

The site's texts, recipes as written, photographs, illustrations, design, logos and code belong to Beau Romania SRL or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Unless we say otherwise:

• you may quote short extracts, with a clear attribution to EuroBeverage and a link to the original page;
• you may print or save pages for your personal use;
• any other reuse, including republishing whole articles, recipes or images, needs our written permission.

Names and trademarks of drinks, producers and other brands mentioned on the site belong to their owners. Mentioning them does not mean they endorse us, or that we endorse them, unless we say so.

Sponsored content and advertising

Some content on the site is paid for by brands, producers or other partners. We always label it: sponsored articles carry a "Sponsored" label and a disclosure note, and advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content. Every external link in sponsored content is marked rel="sponsored". Our editors review all sponsored content and may request changes or reject it. Paying for sponsored content or advertising never buys editorial coverage elsewhere on the site.

Links to other websites

We link to other websites when they help you, for example to sources, producers or official information. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Opening a link is at your own discretion.

Your account

You can read much of the site without an account. A free account lets you read every free story and recipe in full and save up to 20 recipes. To open one you must be at least 18 and give a valid email address, which you confirm through the link we send you, or sign in with Google.

Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it cancels any subscription immediately, with no refund for the current period, and erases your profile, saved recipes and lists. We keep your invoices, as the law requires. To protect your account, deletion needs your account password; if you signed up with Google only, first set a password with "Forgot password" on the sign-in page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

Premium subscription

EuroBeverage Premium gives you every Premium recipe and story in full, unlimited saved recipes, your own recipe lists and cook mode. You can see the current offer on our Premium page.

• Price. €1.99 a month or €19.90 a year. Prices include Romanian VAT (21%). The price shown before you pay is the price you pay.
• Seller. The subscription is sold by Beau Romania SRL. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
• Invoices. After each payment we issue a fiscal invoice through SmartBill and email it to you. Your account page lists your invoices; write to us if you need another copy.

Free trial

The first time you subscribe, you get a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start the trial, but it is not charged during the trial. Stripe may email you a reminder before the trial ends. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically on day 8 and you are charged the price of the plan you chose. The trial is offered once per member. If you have had a trial or a subscription before, no trial is granted and the first payment is due immediately.

Renewal and cancellation

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price then in force, until you cancel. You can cancel or switch between the monthly and yearly plans at any time from your account page, where "Manage subscription" opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and Premium stays available until then. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it. If you switch between the monthly and yearly plans, the switch applies at once: the unused part of your current plan is credited towards the new one, and the portal shows you the amount before you confirm.

If we change the price, we will tell you by email before the change applies to you. The new price only applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then.

If you end up with two subscriptions at once, for example because you subscribed twice, we cancel the later one and refund its payment automatically.

Your right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online contract. Premium gives you immediate access to digital content. When you subscribe, you ask us to start that access straight away and confirm that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins, as Article 16(m) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014 provides. You give this consent on the payment page before you subscribe, and we email you a confirmation of it afterwards. During the free trial nothing is charged, so you can simply cancel before it ends.

Failed payments

If a payment at the end of the free trial or at a renewal fails, Stripe tries the payment again over the following days. Premium stays available for up to 3 days after a failed payment; after that, Premium features are paused until the payment succeeds. If the payment still fails after the retries, the subscription ends and your account continues as a free account. Your saved recipes are kept, but you cannot save new ones beyond the free limit.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, for example to add features or to fix problems. We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Liability

We provide the free parts of the site free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

• indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit or data;
• loss caused by relying on general information on the site instead of professional advice;
• loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by third-party websites we link to.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes will be settled by the competent courts of Romania. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country and may bring proceedings where the law allows. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved quickly by email.

For complaints about a purchase you can also contact the Romanian consumer protection authority (ANPC), including its alternative dispute resolution service (SAL): anpc.ro/ce-este-sal.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
