A Mojito is bright, cooling and gently aromatic. Mix the mint, sugar and lime lightly, then build the drink with rum, ice and soda for a refreshing finish.
Ingredients
- 45 mlwhite rumCuban-style
- 20 mllime juicefreshly squeezed
- 6 sprigsmintinclude sprigs for garnish
- 2 tspwhite cane sugar
- top upsoda wateradd a splash, then top to taste
- 1 slicelimefor garnish
How to make it
Mix the mint sprigs with the cane sugar and lime juice gently in a highball glass.
Add a splash of soda water and fill the glass with cubed ice.
Pour in the rum, top with soda water and stir lightly.
Garnish with the reserved mint sprig and a lime slice.
